The Dispatcher is a quarterly magazine published by The Norris-Banonis Publishing Group LLC. We are an American publisher with a passion for the preservation of vintage vehicles and their rich colorful heritage. The Dispatcher covers an era beginning in 1904 (Willys-Overland) up through the late 1980s – and ventures beyond that when opportunities present themselves. Besides covering Willys and Jeep vehicles, early Ford and Bantam “Jeeps” are also covered. The magazine includes bio’s about individuals who helped shape histories of the vehicles and the companies that produced them. Also, product and book reviews, feature articles, military and civilian articles, events, readers’ rides, historical articles, time capsules, technical articles, off-road adventures, and international articles. And classified ads are free for all subscribers.
We envision this publication to be a resource, to be entertaining, and to be a forum for our readers. In an effort to provide a greater variety of subjects, we encourage you to submit articles to us. We will compensate authors of articles for that effort.
If you send us a photo of your pride and joy, along with a paragraph of information about it, we would be happy to include it in our “Readers’ Rides” section. Please share how long you’ve owned it, what you’ve done with it and any tidbits you think other Willys/Jeep enthusiasts will find interesting.
Advertising is open to any company that wishes to advertise in The Dispatcher. However, the ads must be a Willys/Jeep related product or service. You won’t find any ads for medications or cat food in this publication. If you’re not sure how to come up with an ad, let us do that for you. Our Creative Department would be happy to put together an ad for you for a very affordable fee – just because they like doing so.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy The Dispatcher, and that it becomes a “must read cover-to-cover” for you.
